Our Founder and President
Winston G. Brown, a second-generation general contractor, is a lifelong student of the construction management trade. He founded Sequel Developers, Inc. in 1997 and remains committed to his heritage in construction, strong entrepreneurial spirit and ethical values that were instilled in him early in life.

After graduating from Tulane University with a degree in mechanical engineering, Brown held esteemed engineering positions in numerous private industries for more than 22 years. Brown’s prior employment with both small and large building design and construction firms afford him expertise in all levels of construction management, from concept to design and construction.

Today, Brown is the licensed general contractor of record for Sequel Developers, Inc. and manages all aspects of the daily administrative operations. He is dedicated and committed to making each and every project a success!

Sequel Developers, Inc. was named in honor of our founder’s heritage in construction, capturing the essence of what the company stands for. The word, “Sequel”, simply means a continuation. It represents his legacy and the continuance of a tradition of excellence in building construction. Outstanding performance, integrity and quality work are the foundation of the company’s mission.
